Tribune Company Maintained/Owned Websites
Tribune Company Maintained/Owned Websites - While working for Tribune Technologies, a child company of Tribune Company, I am involved with the maintenance, functionality, or support for every one of these sites. Technologies used are J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Hello all! My name is, as you have probably already noticed, Jason Corradino. When I am not tweeting or trying to influence (read: spamming) a story to the front page of Digg.com, I am working on websites. I am a rather experienced JSP and PHP developer that has worked on multiple projects, some big, some small, and some massive.

So, now that you have the general description of me, let me go into a more in-depth description of the languages that I love and the projects I have worked on.

My language of choice is PHP, or the one with the funny name (seriously, who came up with the name? PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor. That is cheating!). I started working with PHP several years back, working on very small (and I will admit, rather cheesy projects and/or crappy projects), once I started feeling more confident in my abilities, I got a bit more serious with the projects I would take on.

The first large project on my plate was my first real development job: Ligo Products. You can visit the site by going here. I built the page from the ground up using some AJAX, JavaScript, XML/XHTML/CSS (do those really even count?), and PHP. I also helped them with much of their design work, from catalogs, to touching up images using Adobe Photoshop.

While with Ligo, I took on a few medium sized projects for Heritage Web Design. Some of these involved simple functionality such as user login and simple maintenance, others involved more complex payment processing systems and advanced data-security compliancy.

Currently, I am a Technical Producer for Tribune Interactive (technically Tribune Technologies due to a name change, but you can only find them online as Tribune Interactive), a child company of Tribune Company. My role there is to maintain, support, and expand the functionality of LocalTV and Tribune websites. These include multiple news affiliates (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX), ChicagoTribune.com, SouthFlorida.com, WGNTV.com, as well as many other. Unlike my previous jobs/projects, this job uses the more business-centric JSP language.

If you would like to see what I am working on at Tribune Interactive, feel free to scroll down and click on my twitter, as I try to keep it updated with current projects.

If you would like to contact me for a possible project, I will be more than willing to talk with you, just contact me through the contact form below and I will get back to you as soon as I receive your message.

Hope to hear from you soon!
